Information you provide
The form collects your name, business email, operator or company, the selected vessel, your proposed correction or update, and supporting public links. These details are saved privately to review the request and its supporting evidence.
Review and publication
Submissions are not published automatically. Reviewers can accept or reject them. A reviewed operator update may publish the vessel name, a reviewed title and message, source links, and review date. Your contact name and email are excluded from that public update. An accepted correction is checked before it is incorporated into the catalogue.
Storage and access
Submission records and review decisions are stored privately on the existing Scaleway Paris infrastructure. The review queue requires administrator authentication. Records are retained as an evidence trail; there is no automatic expiry at present. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, private crew information or other confidential material.
Public business contacts
Operator contact details already published on official websites may appear in vessel profiles with their source and research date. This public-source research is separate from the private email and name supplied through the contribution form.
Correcting a submission
To amend or withdraw a request, submit a follow-up quoting its reference number. Do not use this form for emergencies or time-critical vessel operations.
